Wii Consoles And Bundles
The Wii console is the main electronics box of the Wii Game System. In essence, it is the heart and soul of Wii - a small computer/accessory that hooks up to your television and allows you play Wii games. For some reason, people tend to use the search term "Wii console" when searching for the complete Wii Game System. But in fact, the Wii console is the main (but not only) component of the Wii Game System.

- A Wii nunchuk (a seondary controller that is essential for some games like Wii Boxing)

Note that the basic Wii Game System only comes with one remote and one nunchuk. To play most two-person games (like games inside Wii Sports) you will need to have an extra remote. To play a two-person version of Wii Boxing and some other games, you will need to have an extra nunchuk as well.
Since these extra controllers are so useful, most of the time people who buy a Wii Game System will get a "Wii Bundle" which includes and extra controller and nunchuk. There is a variety of Wii Bundles, some coming with several extra games as well. Of course, the more you get, the more you end up paying.
My recommendation is to get the Wii Bundle that comes with the extra controllers. If you get a great deal on extra games, then buy that bundle - otherwise just get the minimimal bundle with extra controllers. You can always get more games later if you want.
